Holding space
for your first step
into therapy.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, that first session can feel like a big unknown. We want you to feel informed, calm, and ready before you arrive.

It's completely normal to feel nervous before your first session

Almost everyone who attends their first therapy session has felt this way. Nervousness doesn't mean you're not ready it means you care about doing something meaningful for yourself.

Therapy isn't about being broken. It's about having a space that's entirely yours, to understand your experiences, develop new ways of responding, and move forward with greater clarity and hope.

What to bring
(it's a short list)

There's very little you need to do before your first session, and that's intentional.

Health Card
or an ID

Health Card or another ID, if you have one. This helps me get started with your intake and any paperwork.

Insurance info
(if applicable)

If you're submitting to benefits, bring your plan member number. We'll provide the receipt you need for reimbursement.

Just yourself

No preparation needed. Come as you are, exactly as you are today.
